⦿ Ham Radio Can Be A Lifelong Hobby

73 is usually a greeting to the amateur radio world. But to one of our communicators, Sister Ofelia Ablong, 4H1FQG, it is also her proud age now to maintain the hobby.

As a member of the SCAN Central District Chapter, Sister Ofelia, 4H1FQG, takes on the role of a captivating narrator, sharing her unique journey in the amateur radio world. This journey is sure to captivate and inspire us all:

I'm not ashamed to share that after three times taking the exam, with God's grace, nakapasa po ako ng exam, at ngayon ay licensed na ako."

Sister Ofelia is now an active officer of SCAN in their Local Congregation at Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City. She encourages everyone to enjoy life while serving the community, a mission she fulfills through amateur radio communication, a vital tool in assisting during calamities.

Ham radio is a fascinating hobby offering infinite exploration, learning, and community engagement options.
