SCAN International accomplishes different activities throughout the year. These activities aim to help its members and other ham radio operators maintain and advance their skills and have fun while providing beneficial services to the community and preserving the hobby.

Among the regular and daily activities of SCAN International are friendly QSO in all modes and regular net calls. The "net call" is an amateur radio net or ham net, an interaction between amateur radio operators and stations on the air. Participants pass information from one station to another, discuss a particular interest in amateur operations, or form a communication network of stations to assist during emergencies.

SCAN International conducts its regular net calls using various modes. These include daily net calls on amateur radio frequencies, Echolink, Droidstar, and other Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services.

Other group activities include amateur radio lectures, seminars, conventions, DX contests, community services, and more.

The list below highlights the activities regularly conducted by the group.
